According to the CDC, if you've been exposed to a confirmed case of Monkeypox, you should self-isolate and monitor your symptoms.
Symptoms include:
Fever >100.4
Chills
Swollen lymph nodes (new lymphadenopathy -periauricular, axillary, cervical, or inguinal)
New skin rash / blister type rash
*Fever and rash occur in nearly all people infected with the monkeypox virus.
To ensure your own safety and well-being as well as those around you, it is also recommended by the CDC to thoroughly clean and disinfect all surfaces that you may have come in contact with to reduce your risk of re-infection as well as reducing the risk of infection to others that you may share a space with.
